i5 4440 vs FX-6300?

THIS PC IS STRICTLY FOR GAMING PURPOSE nd WATCHING fHD MOVIES ONLY (no software related work)!!

All prices are in Rupees (India's currency).... 1$=63Rs

Right now i have two config in my mind, please help me choosing (or give a better idea)

1) i5 4440 (or 4430 whichever is worthy) has igpu HD4600, without discrete GPU it can be used for playing a lot of games- i intend to play GTA4, COD series, Diablo etc for the time being at med setting which will take me around 6-8 months to complete then add maybe R7 260x for more hardcore gaming- GTA5, Battlefield4, Crysis, Bioshock, Batman etc
So i5 4440 =12K (at Costtocost) + 5-5.5K mobo (yet to be decided) + 3K RAM (Corsair veng 4gb) +2.5K PSU (not decided) + 4K HDD (Toshiba with 5 yr warranty) + 1K DVD writer (Asus or HP) + 2K Cabinet
a total of around 31K!

2) FX-6300 = 7.5K + 5.5K mobo (GA DS3) + 8K GPU HD 7770 + 3K RAM (Corsair veng 4gb) +2.5K PSU (not decided) + 4K HDD (Toshiba with 5 yr warranty) + 1K DVD writer (Asus or HP) + 2K Cabinet

total = 33.5K

Now i considered option (1) hearing FX series will soon be discontinued + its "no igpu" constrains me to a buy a discrete one right now + FX option is not future proof + i wont upgrade my rig ever i guess so its a long run and hence i5 less power consumption can save me money!!

Which one should i go with nd why?

FX is still future proof. It's not going to be discontinued for a good few more years, at least 3 more. AMD is working on 2 future iterations of the FX series, the 3rd generation "steamroller" cores are supposedly coming out next year, and then after that in 2015 (though more likely in 2016) will be the 4th generation "excavator" cores. Both are part of the FX series and at the very least the steamroller cores are confirmed to still use Socket AM3+, so it's safe to say that the FX series isn't going to be discontinued anytime soon.

Anyway, the HD 4600 is a joke. In fact, most every integrated graphics are terrible. The only moderately decent integrated graphics out there are the HD 8670D integrated GPU in the AMD A10-6800k and the Intel Iris Pro graphics (which are only available in overpriced MacBooks), but the HD 4600 is an absolutely awful card for gaming.

If you're planning on gaming then you'll see a MUCH better performance with an FX-6300 and an HD 7770, absolutely no question about it. Go for your FX build.

32K for Proc, Mobo, Ram, HDD, PSU, DVD-RW! (if no igpu config is used, add a discrete GPU to it also)
Actually they are available cheap locally but for a reference www.flipkart.com

1) when on the earth is this "steamroller" coming out, i can wait till feb2014 only???
2) Which maximum gpu i can go with 6300 without bottlenecking??
3) HD4600 cant play these games at 720p at med settings??

I wouldn't hold my breath on Steamroller. There's a whole mess of information circulating, and it's hard to distinguish one from another. The point is, the FX-6300 still performs extremely well in games (I own one), and for the most part it does very well.

Bottlenecking, just to clarify, is not a definite phenomenon. In other words, it doesn't occur in every instance you play a game. It mostly occurs in CPU-bound games, in other words, games that execute a lot of code, moreso than other games. But in games that aren't so CPU-bound, it may not occur at all. I have a GTX 770 and an FX-6300, and in some games I get bottlenecking, and in others I never get any bottlenecking at all. But generally, it's good to pair an FX-6300 with an HD 7870 GHz Edition or an HD 7850 to ensure that even in CPU-bound games, for the most part both your GPU and your CPU will reach their limitations (and hence neither will bottleneck the other but will rather meet each other). But yeah, an FX-6300 will not bottleneck an HD 7770 clearly.

The following are the lowest settings for Battlefield 3 with an HD 4600 for the i7-4770k at 720p (so expect around 25-ish fps or worse with an i5-4440 at medium settings):

I think i will be going with FX-6300, i have got atmost two years before marriage :p so no gaming after that hence i guess i will be wasting an i5 with 260x, also save a lot with 6300!!
