So im haveing trouble installing the ram so can u guys take a look at my parts to see if it is compatible.so when i try to install it it wont go down all the way.


Here the parts im using and this is my 1st build i have extra money so if i have to buy dif ran i will thanks for your time .

Your RAM: Type 240-pin DIMM DDR 3

Can you take a picture of it not fitting properly?


Like I mentioned - did you make sure the notches on the RAM are correctly lining up with the DIMM slots on the motherboard?

What do you mean it won't go down all the way? Are you sure the notches are lined up properly? RAM tends to be very tight fitting - you may need to put a little force into it to get it to "snap" into place. Just don't go so hard that you damage the motherboard.
