I've just completed my first build and bought a very cheap good condition Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX and I've got the correct power cables to slot it all in fine and have 2 sets of the cables from the PSU so it powers up fine. However, the reasoning for it being pretty cheap was that it didn't come with the display cables! I've not got any around the house but just wanted to know what the correct ones to buy are? As before it arrived I presumed either the HDMI cable or VGA cable I had around the house would suffice!

I'll post a picture of the side so you can view it better, has the two screw ports on the side of the plug with the 3x8 small squares inside on one side with the spaced out 2x2 smaller squares on the other side. There's also a slot which is the same size as an old keyboard / mouse port but with a different inside setup of holes!

Just done a bit of research and I think it's a DVI-I dual link but I'm not 100%, but there's only one HDMI cable slow on my monitor and two DVI slots on the graphics card so how am I going to run both slots into the monitor or does it only need 1 to operate?

or as I've got a HDMI cable just a simple adapter for that to DVI-I should be okay right? Just the thing I'm stumped on is why there's two ports for it on the GPU?
