Title says it all really, want to update, was thinking for now, the CPU and RAM, and then beginning of next year a new GPU?

Current specs:
CPU: Intel i5 2500k @3.6GHz
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
Memory: Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)
Storage: Corsair 60GB Force3 SSD
Storage: 500GB
Storage: Western Digital Black - 3.5 inch 1TB
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 670FTW 2GB
Case: Coolermaster HAF 912
Power Supply: Seasonic 650W 80 PLUS Gold Certified
Bluray Optical Drive.

Any suggestions to improve, I have a budget of around £600. Thanks in advance!

You don't need anymore RAM for gaming. I'd go with the CPU for now, since your GPU should still be doing really well.

But currently I am only getting 40-50 fps on Battlefield 4 on medium settings at 1080p, would the CPU improve that?

It's probably a combination of CPU and GPU. You may want a better GPU.

BF4 is one of the only games that your GPU should be struggling with. Even the top cards struggle with the game.

Ok I see what you are saying, would a better CPU improve the FPS?

For BF4 you would probably see some improvement.
