I already have an Intel Core i5 650 2 cores, four threads @ 3.20 ghz and upto 3.33 ghz with turbo boost and i wanted to buy a gtx 760. will this cpu bottleneck my New Gpu.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cpu: Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20 ghz and upto 3.33 ghz with turbo boost

Ram: 4GB 1333MHZ

Psu: 320 watts for my cpu and an external FSP Booster X5 450watts independent/supplementary power supply for the "GTX 760" Only.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I dont have enough money to buy a new processor.

Also i wanted to know if it will bottleneck, by how many fps will i lose when i play a game like Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4 on ULTRA with FXAA with 1920x1080 FULL HD.

I cant overclock my cpu because my computer is an hp oem pc locked.

I have a motherboard with LGA socket 1156 and max TDP of 75 watts. give my a CPU upgrade suggestion for $150 or should I keep my CPU because it's very difficult to upgrade.

Thank you :)

HP should have a list of what CPU's you could upgrade to should you want to for your particular model. BF4 and Crysis 3 are not going to run on ultra with such a combo. Even THG recommends a newer i5 quad at minimum if not an i7 for crysis 3. You will probably bottleneck in those titles some with that GPU. That GPU won't give you ultra either. High with some extras turned down or off should be doable, I would think.

There may well be a degree of bottlenecking, yes. I was going to say you could just
move the 650 into a better P55 board, but they're surprisingly hard to obtain these
days on the used market at sensible prices (far more highly valued than X58 boards;
how ironic is that?). Have to say that OEM board sounds pretty awful - the low TDP
means you can't even use an i7 870.

I tested the same GPU setup with different CPUs/mbds whcih may give you some
idea of what to expect:

though you'd need to cross-check with BF4 performance articles to be certain.

It's a pity you have an OEM board, because the 650 can certainly run much
higher than 3.33.

Oddly enough, I have an i5 670 I've not yet oc'd & benchmarked, so if there
are any specific tests you'd like me to run then let me know, I can set the CPU
at 3.33 to match your setup. Atm I think the chip is on an ASUS P7P55 WS
Supercomputer board, but I was going to move it elsewhere anyway as I
have an 870 to go in its place, so I could try the 670 on Asrock P55 Extreme
which is a pretty typical mainstream P55 board (though of course it's a lot
better than an HP OEM).

PS. Honestly? For a decent BF4 experience? I'd replace the entire setup.
