From the spec , I can know why is ur HD 7950 getting lower fps compare to ur friend's HD 6970
Intel Processor is stronger compare to AMD processor ~
And your processor is most likely bottlenecking your GPU performance that cause your GPU have lower fps compare to your friend's HD 6970 ~

No way in hell is that even close to true. The HD 6970 is weaker than even the HD 7870. The HD 7950 walks all over it. Sometimes you have to take what people say with a grain of salt. They mean well and believe what they say but when they're running an ancient Core2Duo E8400 3GHz Wolfdale CPU, they have no idea about any AMD processor from the Phenom II X4 to the FX-8350. I have an FX-8350 and I run twin HD 7970s with no bottleneck. If I can do that with my CPU, you can do it with yours. You're good to go, so enjoy! Cheers!

There no way his GPU is superior than HD 7950 ~
Even a HD 7870 is superior than his GPU so , no way his GPU can touch HD 7950 performance ~
