virus remover downloads

Solution
I think a Firefox upgrade probably changed your screen around but try these suggestions, they may help. First, to get the arrow back to where it once was right-click somewhere along the toolbar at the top and select customize. A new window should pop up and from there you can search for the downloads icon/arrow and drag & drop it to your toolbar wherever you would like it. Second, double check where your downloads are being stored. You may already have done this but if not then go to the top left and depending on your setup either left click on the Firefox tab or left click on Tools. Look for and select Options. On the 'General' tab you'll see at the bottom of it the downloads options. See where your downloads are being stored...

Well what happened was my home page had a big green arrow on the right side of screen and depending how big the download was there also was a counter
showing how long the the download would take that is gone and now when i do a download i have to click on save then quickly go down to the lower right corner of screen to catch notification of the download if i miss it,it disappears.
There are probably other pathways but when all you have to do is look up at the upper task bar and click on your downloads it's just annoying.

What browser are you running? I use Firefox and there is an arrow at the upper right-hand corner of the screen that shows download progress but the pathway for where things are downloaded would actually be set elsewhere.

HI,I use F/F also and the big arrow that i was talking about is not there anymore and when a download was done i could click on the arrow to the left of that i had a pop up come on the screen and i could click on that and finish the download.
Like i have said my home page has changed several times over the last few months, like my book marks were on the right side now they are on the left side i read somewhere it is not a good idea to let M/S automatically download and install updates.

Personally, I like them to download to my desktop so I can immediately access them without having to go through any folders to get to them.
