Ok, this is doing my head in!!
I have a 400Gig external hard drive - it is currently showing up as being FAT32 and showing 7Gig free space
I am using recovery software to get undeleted photos - software being used is (Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery Pro) - this program shows that my drive is RAW with 0.00 bytes free
ok: why dont i convert the drive to NTFS and see how i get on with it then..
going through the command prompt i use the convert M: /fs:ntfs
i get the following result - CONVERT is not available for RAW drives..
now which is it, its either a RAW drive or a FAT32 drive - surely it cant be both
Any ideas folks!!
