Hello
This is my first build and i cannot get my 24pin atx power supply connector to go in.
I've snapped the 8 in fine. But when i try and put the 20+4 pin in it never snaps its always slightly high on one side. Any advice?
Sorry about the cable managment wanted to get everything working first

Thanks for any help.
I'm a little bit worried due to the fact this is my first build and my power supply came with no instructions. (thanks corsair).

Solution
First insert the 20pin then plug in the 4pin.

1 last question (sorry for keeping the same thread)
I installed my heatsink fan (standard intel one) however i just assumed the paste was on the heat sink. Yet i dont remember seeing it on the heatsink. And as its a paste i'm sure i would have had to remove some plastic layer would i not?

If this is the case is it okay for me to remove the heatsink whilst the mobo is installed or do i need to uninstall everything?

Its a haswell i5 4570

Hi,
I'm having the same problem as the OP except I can't plug in the 20 then the 4 because the design is such on mine that the connector for the 4 clips into the 20 - you have to put them both in at once.

What would you recommend I do?
