I've got 2x 8gb Corsair Vengeance RAM which is capable of running at 2400Mhz. I have a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 - I know that along with my AMD FX-8350 will only run RAM as fast as 1866Mhz, but I cannot increase the speed at all - my system has defaulted its speed at 1333Mhz.
I've tried everything in the bios, changing the clock speed, profile, voltage etc. And I've updated to the latest bios using qflash, but no matter what I always get a boot fail.

Any ideas?

You can use a CD which can automatically install the operating system and then insert it for performance of required tasks. Many CDs are available which can perform all the tasks automatically.
