I have a budget of 2200 INR and i am thinking of buying logitech g300.

Logitech g400 is actually tempting me to increase my budget.

Is the mouse woth it or g300 will do just fine.

My personal take here is that the additional dpi of the G400 isn't worth the price difference. I've never used a higher dpi than 2500 (which I feel is too touchy), I usually keep mine around the 1800 dpi range. I'm going to say go for the G300.
