Hi everyone, just wanted to get your thoughts and views on the above... I have a GTX780 Palit jeststream but with the release of the 780ti on the horizon I wanted to get your views on whether or not its was worth upgrading to the ti , sticking with a single 780 or throwing another 780 into the mix and going SLI. This is the first build i have ever done and I'm so happy I chose to cancel my deposits on the PS4 and X1. Im running this build on a 2560x1400 monitor @ 85hz so im looking for a solution that will give the best overall visual performance.

Thanks

To power a small country maybe, yeah sure...

Why not just add on another 2 780's then

I can vouch for 2 780s in sli and honestly i thin you should stick with 1 780 or go with the 780 Ti. Sli on paper gives you more performance but it comes with its framerate issues with micro stuttering which for me its not worth it and my single 780 ran smoother then 2 in sli..Hope this helps

Agree. The upgrade from 1x 780 to 2 wasn't worth it, in fact the increase in performance wouldn't justify the trouble that some games have with dealing with a SLI config, especially MMO's if you're interested in playing those.

My advice would be stick to your current 780 as there are no games I've seen which will max it.

Yea and i was looking foward to sli as well but after i seen what people has been saying in person on my own rig yea i think from here on out im sitcking with single gpu setups. I guess some doesnt have issues and im happy for them but its to much of a gamble and im not willing to take that risk again afrer seeing 2 780s in sli and to be quite honest the performance wasnt even that outstanding for the games that sli worked on without the strange stuttering

And what kills me is when people say oh you dont know what you doing. In sli setups your going to get latency with alternate frame rendering/split frame rendering as well and it causes issues and ill rather have 1 gpu doing the work with smoother frames
