I will scan for viruses right away!
About the icons with caution signs, they are just non essential programs that i have not bothered to configure or uninstall.

There were no viruses to be found, exept for some corrupted file but it was removed.
But that warning sign still persists and since it was there so has my screen turn on and off randomly but not very often.
You might be able to look through the task manager's process tab and locate any unfamiliar programs running. Just right-click and kill task and see if the icon disappears.
I was going to say that sign normally means there is an update pending, but it normally says so when you hover your mouse over it or click on it. you gotta love windows. :-/
