Anything wrong with same subnets?

HI I have two separate networks, each with there own internet, connect through a bridge lan/lan. I have both these networks on the same subnet and set statically so they stick to there home router and don't become attached to the other router across the bridge. The only reason for connecting them is so that all computers can use the server database on a server at one location. Just making sure this networking all seems like a good set up and that there's nothing wrong with them being on the same subnets? The reason I ask is somebody was wondering why I would have them on the same subnet "as if there was something wrong with that" but didn't give a reason.
thx Jace

the quick answer is, that is not the right was to do it, albeit it works, best practice would be to keep them seperate because things can go awry quite quickly since you have two routers on the same subnet. This leads me to believe that you have 2 dhcp servers competing on the same scope. As long as you keep everything addressed statically it should be fine but I would not recommend it

So with my limited knowledge what would be the "best" way to set up this network? The main thing is that networks A & B (separate lan and wan and at separate locations connected via nanobridge) all need to communicate with a server at location A. right now gateway A is 192.168.0.1 and B is 192.168.0.10. Would a better way be something like A @ 192.168.0.1 and B @ 192.168.1.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0? Or would that not change much? Jw opinions as I know how to make it work just not whats "best"
