Alright so I decided to do a fresh install of Windows 8 to install Windows 8.1. I've tried previously to upgraded it directly without a refresh/clean slate but my computer came with different kind of errors. Usually things go smoothly but this time everything was hell.
To start my computer was stable before reinstalling Windows 8. But after a new install I began getting BSOD's soon after. These BSOD vary from Memory Management. Bad Pool Header, and several more. The second install I struggled installing the OS itself. Almost every time I try to do a Windows Update there is a BSOD.
This is a laptop of course. I am using a 60GB Intel 520 SSD. I have removed the 1TB storage HDD and 30GB mSATA SSD. A quick diagnostic scan through Intel SSD Toolbox I got a Memory Integrity (Mis)match error. So I googled this error. Apparantly bad RAM/Memory can bring this error up for SSD/HDDs. Well I did a RAM test for a short few minutes but got over 3000 errors. I guess that means I have some bad memory.
Will removing the bad memory dim/sticks fix my BSODs?
