Hi all,

I'm looking to build a multi purpose PC with a FX8320 + aftermarket cooler , GTX 760 and 8 gb ram 1600 mhz to begin with .

I'm looking at MB that go for about the same price in my country, from the usual manufacturers .
Which would you choose from the following :

They are priced roughly the same and seem to be have the same features, and all have pretty decent reviews, therefore i need someone to help me make a decision .

It should also be a able to support a bit of OC from that CPU and 1600 mhz RAM, 16 gb of it to be more specific ( the extra 8 gb will be acquired later on ) .

The Asus http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
MSI has VRM issues and the Asrock is a lesser board and I personally dislike Gigabyte and their board revision policy.
Here you can look up OC potential as well http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-...

Go with the Asus, they are the best in my opinion, and they use good quality parts.

Hi, rolli59, very good info for the VRM database. I bookmarks it, thinks.

Yep that is the best source I have found on AMD boards, what to buy and what to avoid. I had an MSI 970-G45 as an early adopter and had issues with it and found this. I got it RMA'ed for the G46 which now runs an FX8350 (no OC) but with a CPU cooler that blows down on the VRM heatsinks. I am just waitng (9 months already) for it to burn up so I can replace with a decent 990FX board.

Thanks guys, i'm going with Asus . I didn't read anything bad about it plus it looks good.
@ u_gonna_squeal_b4_we_cookya appreciate the logic but i'm not interested at all in pairing up video cards as i'm not really a hard gamer, just a fps here and there.
