I've already been through bad experience with Beats in terms of sound quality. I believe you don't really get what you paid for, bought both the Studio which at that time was 349.99$ and Solo's HD for 219.99$... The thing is that my gaming Logitech headset G930 sound better and only costs 150$... Since I like music while running, etc.. What other brand out there does offer QUALITY when it comes to their headsets??

Sennheiser is good too.

I like these a lot: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50S-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B004ZG9TMA/

These are nice too: http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige-Series-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B000G3LCQC/

ALRIGHT! I see HUGE difference in reviews comparing them to "beats supposedly high-ends"

I'll get this ones:
ATH-M50S

They will be good for gaming, but they do not have a mic if you need one.

I'll use my web cam mic and keep those and sell my current G930's.

For gaming, snag up Razer's Synapse surround sound software while it's free.

http://www.razerzone.com/surround/donate-and-download

This will simulate 7.1 surround sound for any stereo headphones similar to the software that logitech uses for the G930.

If you want virtual surround sound in games, that is. The software will no longer be free after Jan 1st (although they are taking charity donations while it's free).
