I (finally) have all of the parts to get my new build up and running. Well, all but the video card, and extra storage... My question is, (yes... I know this is a beaten horse). Which GPU will complement my build, and last as a sufficient Gaming PC for upcoming years. My specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
RAM: 8 GB Kingston Hyper X RAM @ 1600 Mhz with a CL of 9-9-9-24
COOLER: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK 140mm Heatsink
GPU: TO BE DECIDED
PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO 650W 80 PLUS BRONZE
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO-series 120GB SSD (OS)
HDD: WD 1T Caviar Black HDD (Have not purchased yet)
CASE: Fractal Design R4 Black/w window

Also, I'll be needing a Bluray R/W Drive, but for now an old DVD drive will do.

So, What higher end GPU do you recommend for games such as: BF4, Crysis 3, and GTA 4 (possibly GTA ONLINE when it hits PC).

My budget is not set, hell, I may try to milk this out of the Christmas loot. lol.
I'm thinking about the Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 OC Boost for ~$350

Objections?

Solution
R9 280X is basically the same card as HD7970 so look into that in the $300 range, other option is GTX770. HD7970 has to cost under $300 for me to consider it over the other two.

At this point I think getting an R9 290 would be a better buy given that it's only $50 bucks more and offers features like true audio and crossfire without needing a physical bridge attachment on top of the performance boost over a 7970. If you wait for AIB partners to make their own coolers or buy an after market one you'll get even better performance out of the 290.
