I am clueless when it comes to picking a good monitor. I am budgeting at $300 but can go a little higher if need be. I am looking for the best value for a monitor in this range. I would like the highest resolution and fastest response time but the picture is most important. I am a moderate gamer so I could sacrifice some speed for picture quality. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys!!!!

This is my current build. I put everything together last night and just need a good monitor to complete.
