2 parts to my question.

1. i currently have a ASUS VG278H my cards run at around 61C when playing BF4 and at an average 120-170 fps on ultra settings. I'm looking to upgrade to at least 1 1440p monitor 3 if possible. my question is what kind of performance and temps would i be looking at with both 1 and 3 monitor setups with my titans?

2. im willing to spend a bit more for 3 of these monitors. but nothing outrageous. originally i was going to buy 1 tempest. but they are out of stock and i dont much want to wait. so question 2 is: can anyone link me to some affordable monitors that can be overclocked to around 120Hz reliably?

Check this article out, lots of great information!

As a caveat the drivers have matured since it was written, so the performance is better, but a single Titan at 2560x1440 on ultra pushes around 35FPS average. Add scaling, and the pair should push 60-70FPS. And that is only a single monitor.

If you are trying to go surround, I don't know if a pair of titan's will handle 3 2560x1440 panels, but I am sure that 3 1920x1080 panels will be fine.

nVidia surround doesn't work with 2 monitors. If you just get 2, you will be limited to fullscreen on a single panel.

so just read that 3gb vram in the 780ti might be an issue for some games and that it would work best at 1080p. I've seen benchmarks that had it running in 1600p but i don't know what settings they were using (although i assume the max settings) so should i be worried about bf4 in ultra on a 1440p monitor with only 3gb vram since i have 2 of these monsters coming by ups tomorrow?

so after some time playing around with these new cards i think I'll pose my question again. You think that these 780ti's could handle 1440p surround? or would the 3gb vram be a wall for it? at the frames im getting which are higher than the titan but not by much. pretty solid at 140fps BF4, i think it might be possible if the vram holds out
