I'm guessing you do quite a bit of gaming.
So more RAM will probably be helpful but not necessary.

Going for SLI can be a problem -
You must check that your Motherboard and PSU can support a SLI configuration.
If so, then you need to know some things - you can't mix and match Ti models with non-Ti models, if one clock speed on a GFX card is higher than the other then the higher one will become the same speed as the lower one if that makes sense, they need to be the same chipset and have the same amount of ram.
I'm telling you this just in case you don't know it already.

Hope it helps, Chris.

Gtx 780 is better than 2 580s BY FAR.We need you to tell us what your motherboard model is because it might not support more than 8gb of ram.In addition,I would like to say that 16gb is overkill for modern gaming.8gb is more than enough

You can upgrade it up to an i7 3770k.You can do it,if you have the money it is good to upgrade that too to avoid bottlenecks in the future.By the way,you can put more RAM.I suggest 2x4gb of RAM,in addition to the one you already have (give the retailer the existing RAMs and he will give you the ones which suit you) or,get 2x8gb of RAM.
