Recently I bought a new MSI LGA 1155 MPOWER z77 motherboard for 200 USD. I tried to build my new gaming computer and I scratched the motherboard via scratching it on the Standoffs and when installing my Gpu. Now the computer won't go to the bios and gives me on my POST Led code 99. I also somehow bent a few cpu pins. I called a computer repair store near me and said it would cost 150$ to repair. Should I repair or just buy a 150$ motherboard?

I'd just buy a new one. With off-warranty repairs by the local, any otherwise valid future warranty claim will be disallowed.

But shouldn't a 150$ repair fixing my 200$ motherboard be better, since buying a 150$ one has less features than the 200$ one?

If they do have warranty, should I still go for it
