Dell 755 Optiplex Windows 7 64 bit not recognizing all loaded RAM.

I have a Dell 755 Optiplex Dual-core that I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. The machine is capable of having 8GB of Ram. I installed 8GB (all of same type recommended by Dell) but machine only recognizes 4GB. Any help?

I just looked at Bios which is latest version and it is saying each stick of RAM is 1GB when actually, each stick is 2GB each. Any ideas?

What exactly is the model of your RAM, if you can provide link to it - perfect answer.
What is your BIOS version?
