Advice needed on Graphics Upgrade, system specs inside.

Hi guys,

I am looking for some advice on what Graphics Card to get for my system. I'm basically after running games on 1920x1080 with decent framerate and would be happy with playing on the 'Medium' setting.

I am not looking for something that will break the bank just basically around £100-£150 price mark.

My system is:
A8-6600K Processor 4.0+ GHz
16GB 1600Mhz RAM
1TB HDD
HD8570D Integrated chip.
500W Power suply.

If someone would be kind enough to explain to me whether I can x-fire my GPU with an AMD card that would be muchly appreciated!

Hi jack to cross fire you will need 2 GPU's that are the same this is over your price budget but i would recommend the sapphire 7850 £130 or if you want to go with nvidia a EVGA 650ti £150

Ah I see, so you suggest getting x2 of those cards and using crossfire or running the cards standalone?
Those two cards would be within my price range without going cross fire.

Is it better to crossfire two lower-end end cards for example cards around the £80 round as opposed to buying a single card for example £150?

i would go with the one GPU for now and then buy another one when you have the money that way you'll get better performance.

its not bad but its worth buying 650ti for the extra performance there are cheaper ones like...

I honestly think the 660 would outperform the 650 and wouldn't cost much more $$$.
