It's not low. It is enough for any graphics card needing only one PCIe power cable (unless you've got a stack of hard drives, lots of fans, and plan on extremely high overclocks of everything). PSU manufacturers overstate requirements in the attempt (often in vain) to account for all the liar-labeled junk out there that's barely good for half its label.
Between the FSP-built VP-450 and the CWT-built NAXN, I'd choose the VP-450 every time.
Of those two, the CX-500M is the one to get. The non-modular Corsair CX units are made with some inferior Samxon capacitors that do not like heat and fail early. I would not use one in a gamer.
If I were the one buying though, I'd get a 380W Antec Earthwatts. Though its output is lower, the quality is higher. I've used a lot of them, and haven't had any fail yet.

ive got around 6 fans on my chasis...3 hds 2 external 1 internal....im not really into overclocking...the only overclock i use is the one provided by the asus bios which is the turboEVO...which speeds up my processors speed...can vp450 can handle the load of my setup>>?

This one should be the best one suggested so far, do note that the price tag is after rebates so you'll have to pay more upfront.
