I have the Diablotek EVO ATX midtower case with a MSI FM2-A85XA-G43 mobo installed. I have found connections for all the other cables coming from the front pane except for one.

It is a 5 pin connector with four wires going into it. They are labeled VCC / D- / D+ / GND / GND (last ground has no wire).

I have read thie case manual (worthless) and the mobo manual (several times now) and everything else plugs in according to something in the manual but I cannot find a place for this cable.

Can anyone please tell me where this cable goes?

Thanks

I can not figure out how to post a picture here. Sorry.

Sounds like USB but it should have more pins. Can you take a picture?

That definitely sounds like a USB header, possibly for a card reader.

According to your case manufacturer the only thing that it comes with that isn't the power/reset/power/hdd activity options are 3x usb and 1 Audio connector.

I want to thank all of you who answered. The fact that everyone thought it was a usb got me thinking and in looking on the motherboard there was a diagram for the layout of the JUSB which said

VCC / D- / D+ / GND / O
VCC / D- / D+ / GND

This plug matches up with the bottom row here.

If no one thinks it will cause a problem I am thinking I will plug it in here.

Thank again.

Sorry I couldn't get a photo to upload.

Yep, it is your USB.

Your case only has 3 front ports, so 1 pair of them (2) will be a standard USB cable. The 3rd USB port I guess they made into "Half" of a standard usb plug.
