Uhm, I hope it's not just me, but I;m having extreme lag on my PC with Cod: Ghosts, just got it today. AMD 4.0Ghz 8-Core 5000Mhz, 16GB Ram 1886Mhz Rip jaws, (Two) AMD 7870 2GB (4GB Total) 24" 1920x1080, Windows 7 64-bit. I'm playing at lowest settings and there's still lag. ;(

I'm using a water cooler, not open loop water cooling. One of the corsair series.

FIXED! This will sound crazy and unbelievable, but I set my settings to what I wanted, but I MADE SURE that Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering was at it's HIGHEST settings. After that, I have no lag. Lmfao. It works for me at least. XD

hmm that seems odd, seems to me its an issue with you cpu since AA and those setting will rely more heavily on the gpu vs the cpu.

I had kind of a similar issue with my bios settings and my extremely high overclock at the time.

have you run prime 95 at that speed ?

I know, right! That's why I thought it was crazy. What does prime 95 mean? Fan speed? CPU usage?

Prime95 means your CPU is going to die. (Sarcasm) In other terms, it mean look more in depth to your overclock and make sure it is really stable or else the performance will actually be far worse. Just because it boots back up and plays game doesn't mean it's stable.
