Will this GPU work with this Motherboard/Power Supply?

Hey guys. I'm new to all this stuff and I'm wondering if this GPU will work with this Motherboard.

The GPU in question is: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3778-KR

The Motherboard in question in this: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4140#ov

The Power Supply is: http://www.topower.com/product/TOP650W.html

It is a 650 Watt Power supply. I'm not concerned about the wattage though, I'm concerned about the connectors.

If this is the wrong section, I'm very sorry. The thing I am concerned about is that on the EVGA website it says the GPU needs "Two available 8 pin PCI-E power connectors". On the Power Supply box, it says it has "6pin connector" and "6+2 pin connector". I don't know if this means it will work or not.

Please help. Once again I'm sorry if this is the wrong section.

Sure you can run the 770 on that mobo, nVidia runs fine on it - it doesn't however support SLI, only XFire, unless there's been a BIOS update since I last touched one. The GPU uses a 6 pin and an 8 ( or 6+2) pin PCI-E connector which your selected PSU has, though it would be marginal as far as power, I'd opt for a better PSU if at all possible

I've been using a Nvidia 640 for a long time now, no problems.

Any cheap-ish PSU you can recommend? What do you mean "marginal as far as power?"
In your opinion, would you get this GPU for this Motherboard and PSU?

I already have all these parts, except the GPU. Just looking for a new GPU.

770 calls for a 600 and 42 amps, yours has 44 (2 rails) and is PEAK 650, continuous is prob around 540 or so, you prob want the most out of a GPU you can get, so might look at the 280X's, the Asus CU TOP is a good one, just got one last week, great Card and just shy of the 770 as far as performance, also costs less

Yeah I've already got my 2500K and I love it. 4.8 though? That's pretty awesome. What cooling do you have?
