I'm looking to build my own computer (first time). I just wanted to run by my build to see if everything's compatible, and if there's any parts I could switch around for a better quality/perf to price ratio. Build's primarily going to be used for gaming/heavy data crunching.

Budgets $1000, but I'm hoping to shave off as much money as I can to spend it on peripherals. I already got the PSU listed.

That's a good looking build, mate. Why not go Haswell for same price?
