PhysX not found ? of Course im with ATI !!!!!

Ok so ive bought the game from steam today....and im trying to get it to work , i have a Asus ATI HD 6670 and i try to run it , it keeps saying that i dont have physX installed but physX only comes with nvidia now so wtf ?!

It comes like this

I found this with a quick search on Google. Someone was having the same problems until following this set of instructions:

Something tells me (by looking at the bottom link) that you are trying to install a totally different patch, perhaps for GRAW and not GRAW2? seeing as to how Graw 2 only got 5 patches.

Ubisoft has drop the ball immensely so I usually download the patch and install it manually since everytime I let the auto update do its thing, I end up with a busted game or worse... a busted PC.

My suggestion? Uninstall the game, go to safe mode, use Ccleaner to get rid of any Registry...

Reinstall the game, PhysX drivers will be installed, and everything will be fine. You likely were going through your program list and uninstalled it, because it said Nvidia. PhysX drivers are needed for AMD as well, if you play a game that uses a PhysX engine. Even if you don't use GPU accelerated PhysX, it is still needed to run the engine, and PhysX is often run on the CPU.

I'm not sure you are aware, but the Radeon cards mentioned are about 11 years old. They are just now starting to recycle through all the numbers since then. The requirements are ancient by todays standards.

My suggestion? Uninstall the game, go to safe mode, use Ccleaner to get rid of any Registry instances of the game, restart again and install a fresh copy of Graw.

Don't forget to install the PhysX and the DirectX if the game asks you for it.
