Okay I've had a antec 620 for a while and it's been installed correctly but I was going through the bios earlier and noticed the cpu fan (which would be my pump) running at 1422rpm

So my question is this, if that is my pump could I manually set the rpm higher and increase my cooling capabilities? And if I can what would be a safe rpm to run it at?

But if it's free why not?

Anyone have recommendations or experience doing this with anything else?

actually found some info on this subject. the pump in the antec 620 is rated for 3000rpms, while it is only running at 1440rpm right now. so i'm going to kick up the rpms. and i'll be back with results.
