ULTRA Budget Gaming RIG

one of my friend is contemplating to build a gaming rig on ultra tight budget so he have decided to go for FX 6300, 8 GB 1600 Mhz RAM and HD 7770, the question is which motherboard he should choose considering the fact that he might in the future think of overclocking so what would be the best budget overclocking friendly board? the guy at the shop is recommending Gigabyte 78lmt usb 3.. is it good?

The M5A97 LE R2.0 is a great motherboard, and is what I would suggest. It is one of the best motherboards for the price, and overclocks well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872
The one you mentioned is a micro atx, it is very small, and only supports 1333 RAM, when you should get 1600, considering it's about the same price but adds a decent amount of performance.

thanks for the reply but should tell him to go for 1600 MHz or 1866 MHz as AMD cpu's benefits from higher RAM speeds? as he's adding 1 stick of 8 gb he will be adding another 8 gb stick one year later.

I would suggest getting the M5A97, then two sticks of 4GB RAM, as it tends to be cheaper. If 1866 is in his budget, he should definitely get that, no reason not to.

as he don't have future plans for overclocking so should he settles with the STOCK CPU cooler or should he get the CM EVO 212?

why 2 stick of 4 GB Ram instead of 1 stick? does that performs better?

Two sticks generally performs better, and is almost always cheaper. I suggest a CM Hyper 212 Evo, lower temps increase the life of your processor.
