6 Bit e-IPS vs 6 Bit TN, is there any difference?

Hello all. I'm trying to decide on a new gaming monitor. I've narrowed it down to two. A 23 inch Acer e-IPS. And a 27 inch LED AoC monitor.

I've heard IPS is far better for displaying images, however, looking at the specs for both monitors, they are both 6 bit and both are listed as having a display range of 16.7 million colors.

So is there any real difference between the two?

I followed the article to the best of my ability, and I'll admit it all was a bit confusing to me. I could be wrong, but it sounds to me that there will be no difference in image quality between the two monitors, which is why I was going for IPS in the first place. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong though.

Here are the links to the two monitors.

Which would you recommend?

Well, i`ll go with AoC because (but this is my personal opinion - you should go in a store and ask to see them in action before buying them online):

1. Has bigger screen
2. Has lower response time (gray to gray is only half of white to black... so real response time is bigger than advertised and there are situations when it counts: like fast paced shooters). So for gaming i always go with lower response time - in fact i use an plasma tv (which have 0.001ms response time) for PS3 gaming.

What i don`t like:

1) has only analog (out of question) and HDMI, but your graphic adapter must have one (or use an dvi2hdmi adapter).
2) They are both 6bit (where did you read that?)
