I am getting out of my A10-6800k build since its restricting the performance from my new MSI GTX 770 card. Since this is a HTPC build the S model would be more ideal. Would the 4770S bottleneck/kill my FPS (frames per sec) scores?

I have the 4770 non k version with the 770 GTX Lightning and it runs very well. The 4770s cuts back on power but without clear benchmark tests It's hard to tell. Any real reason you are wanting the (s) version?

Its a very compact HTPC running a SFX powersupply. 450w Silverstone Gold powersupply. I would like to give it the most head room as possible without killing its performance. I was running it with the 6800k and its rated a 100w processor without any probs but then again it was limiting its fps(the processor itself.. not the ps).

Heres my recent thread about it:

The regular and K version is 84w so it does give me a bit... Im pretty sure i'll be alright either way just would like to lean towards the 65w 4770s if possible without much compromise in fps.
