got a CHKDSK error on startup today, it said Manycam.exe and Origin.exe were corrupted, not sure if that means something happened to my hard drive?
also if it makes a difference, i installed a new CPU cooler last night, and just before i got the errors i got BSOD on first startup (might be cause i tried to overclock a bit more last night but changed back for more stability)
anyone know if my hard drive corrupted or if it was just a weird thing to do with BSOD? and if it is corrupted, would it be a good idea to fresh install windows on my ssd (currently on HDD) and try format the HDD windows is currently on?

Solution
It sounds like your overclock is causing system instability. Overclocking effects ram speeds which in turn can cause corrupt data written to the drive. If you can successfully run chkdsk after setting to defaults, then your overclock is definately the problem.

Have you run memtest, prime95, and/or other tools to check for stability?

Well, where to start?
1) Checkdisk specify to you that you have 2 files corrupted, not entire drive. One is manycam and one is origin.
2) This corruption could appear from that BSOD... but it is just the effect not the cause.
3) It is always a good ideea to have OS on SSD (assuming you use win7 or win8). And when switching to SSD you should alway do a fresh install.

Conclusion: If you don`t want to go all the way with windows install just check the HDD again for errors and let CHKDSK fix them and you`re good.

i tried using CHKDSK to research for any corruptions but after 11% it just shuts itself and so fast that i can't read anything that pops up
also i tried some ailitro program and it told me the HDD had no errors (all in green blocks not red) so im not sure if its fine or if its corrupted....
