How to change nat type?

hi. I recently bought a netgear WN2500RP range extender which works perfectly fine. I'm also able to play on xbox live with a good connection now but when I run test connection on my xbox 360 (which is now connected to the extended wifi) it says that my nat type is now moderate and that I should change it, a tip was to enable upnp which if I'm not mistaken, I think is already enabled. How do I fix this nat problem? thank you

Oh and when I was connected to my original router it did not have this problem, this problem only appeared, as I said, once I connected the xbox 360 to the range extender

Have you tried forwarding the needed ports from your router to the IP address of the extender instead of your Xbox? or if there is software for the extender than you may be able to set it up through there.
