I want to buy Icy Dock's MB455SPF-B but in order for the fail led to light the motherboard or the raid card must support the HD fail indicator function. So I want to ask, if anyone has experience in this subject, if the LSI SAS 9211-8i card and a dual socket motherboard for Xeon E5 (like Asus Z9PE-D8 WS) support something like this or should I go for the MB155SP-B which at least has better cooling (essential for Greece)?
