Cooler master K380 Case Best water cooling system available

Hello everyone i just finished building my pc using the Cooler master k380 computer case with the 500 watts power supply that came with it .

I'm using the FX-6300 AMD processor the only thing that i dont like so far is the heat sink that came with it . the fan is always running at 5600 RPM which is very noisy and keeping the pc only at ~50 C on load .

I'm looking for the best water cooling system that can fit in that CASE i was hoping to install the Seidon 240 MM but i dont see how can i get it to fit in the case another option is the 120mm version which will fit on the back fan .

how big is the difference between the 120mm and the 240mm i would assume twice the performance . currently i'm running at 3.5 ghz looking to run at 4.0-4.2 ghz with my current setup.

what do you guys think ?

No use for the water cooling.

This should be more than enough for Ocing your cpu to 4.4-4.5 GHz: SAVE MONEY!

i'm trying to run as quite as possible because i really hate fan noises and also the fan rpm is kinda low 600-2000 would that be enough

Sufficient!

I have OC'd 8350 which is a 125watt cpu ( 6300 is 95watt) to 4.4~4.5 GHz stable with Hyper 212 evo.

how about the noise ? and also would it fit in the k380 it is a BIG cooler also would it be worth it getting an aftermarket Fan or even a 2nd fan for that cooler . i see that it comes with a second mounting kit

Hyper 212 Evo dimensions: 120 x 80 x 159 mm (4.7 x 3.1 x 6.3 in)

K380 dimensions: 209 x 445 x 479 mm / 8.2 x 17.5 x 18.8 inch

It will fit! Noise is bearable.

well thing is i'm using the MSI 970a-g46 MOBO the processor socket is all the way up leaving ~5 cm of space between it and the case body

Hi ibrahemahmed,

The Hyper 212 EVO will not fit in the K380. The K380 will support coolers up to 155mm height and the 212 is 159mm high.

What you can check for is the Hyper 103. It has really good cooling performance and is somewhat smaller.

You can also check our 120mm water coolers, but I can't give you any headsup on the temp. it will bring.

it fits , i have evo 212, mb asus ws revolution, i5 2500k , fit and have place for a lateral fan
