I have an older Asus 990FX Sabertooth and i accidentally pulled off two of the SATA connectors (two are stacked on top of each other). I have no warranty on it because i bought it used and i only ripped off the two SATA 2 ports. Is there any way i can safely prevent the metal connectors from touching?

I wasn't sure about the first two, but I thought about the last one. So I could electrical tape them inplace to prevent them from touching.

if you wrap the tape in the right way, ya. just cut a small piece big enough to fit the pins on both sides, then press the tape to one side making sure the pins are not touching, then press the tape to the other side to keep them in place and not touching.
