will this run bf4 and cod ghosts on medium-high settings (no AA)

think your jumping the gun a little. @ OP what res are you gaming at? the 7770 is barely a midrange card, it's more entry level than anything else.

This will give you an idea of your card at 1680 x 1050 high settings.

it's touching 30 + fps or thereabouts. Not stellar performance. It may feel stuttery when playing.

Your CPU is weaker than the I5 2550k in this article, so most likely will not attain exactly those frame rates. I'd say a mix of med-high settings, getting up to the low 30's FPS, but prob with dips on larger maps (if your playing multi). Prob slightly better performance on single player.

keep in mind that that article was written using beta graphics drivers on a beta game. Both the game and the drivers have drastically matured since that was written, and I am getting about a 20-30fps jump using the same hardware since the beta.

So, I would expect that card to be in the 30-40 range on medium settings, depending on the resolution.

Also, even though it's not an Intel processor, it has a higher thread count than the 2500k, which BF4 will use, since it is very well optimized for multi-threading.

sorry I think your misleading the OP slightly. On the basis of what you've said there is a near 80-100% increase in performance from a 2 month old beta, to the release Retail version with a 7770 Graphics driver update or no, I don't think that's quite the increase the OP can expect.

And despite BF4 being multithreaded, as is BF3, there will be no huge leap in performance for a midrange CPU like an FX 6300. It's not a poor processor by any means, I'm just saying with the 7770 he won't be hitting 30-40 fps at med, bar maybe on the single player. Simples.

Your all talking out your back side lol my brother has a fx6300 a 7770 and 8gb ddr3 and runs bf4 fine on medium to high...

I have a I5 3570k 550ti and 8gb of ram and run at high no problem, the fx6300 overclocked is better than my 3570k overclocked and the 7770 just peakes the 550ti in my opinion.
