ASUS Radeon R9 280X (x2) crossfire bottle neck i5 4670 non k

Hi,
I recently got a credit back on my doa ghz 7970 now upgrading to the new r9 280x. I plan to crossfire later on and worndering will my i5 4670 bottleneck the cards? Also could anyone explain the real difference between thee two asus cards?

If you look carefully, one is a 2-slot card while the other is a 3-slot affair.

Thanks for the replys guys. Is there any advantage to having a 3 slot? Otherwise I I'll go with the 2 slot. Wicked, was affrid my cpu wouldnt handle twp.
