Would a R9 280x work okay on a corsair 600w gs600 2013 series 80+ bronze PSU?

okay bought a new psu the other day a corsair 600w gaming series 2013 edition which ive installed in my rig and now ordered a sapphire R9 280x DUEL-X which is due to arrive tomorrow to replace my asus gtx 660 ti directcu II

so will my R9 280X be okay on my corsair 600w?

my rig specs once r9 280x installed

ASUS ROG CG8480

i5-3570k (oc 4.1ghz)
mother board - ASUS P8Z77-V
ram - 8gb ADATA 1600mhz
GPU - sapphire R9 280X DUEL-X 3GB GDDR5
PSU - corsair 600W gs600
windows 8.1

Surely it will run on 600W psu even with some overclock. Just go fot It! and nice rig.

The answer is obv Yes even with some spare Watt,

I have a AMD processor that uses a 125W alone (yours needs 65W~) + Radeon 7950 that needs a 500W (like yours) and using a 4years old 550W PSU.


So youll be fine.
