I have the exact same problem as shown in this thread by dragonborn 1337 http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/66011-3-setting-headphones-speakers-audio-devices

I am using windows 7 with a Realtek HD Audio Manager but when both my headphones and my speakers are plugged in, i can only find one item labelled "speakers" under audio devices. I have already enabled viewing of disabled devices but there's still only the one thing. At present, the only method i have of toggling between the two devices is manually plugging out my headphones, for even though the realtek audio HD manager is clearly able to recognize that there is a different audio device at the front and back panel, windows 7 isn't. Can someone help?
