Does the computer show that there are no files at all or certain ones missing?
In the my computer screen does it show that the flash drive is completely empty? (for example does it show 9Gb free of 9Gb?)

when i transfer a movie or an album to my flash drive then safely remove then plug back into laptop the folders are empty
