Hi there folks, i recently purchased a supermicro x8st-f mobo and i bought to go with it an evga gtx760 pcie x16 gcard. However on installing it the card pins dont fit the slot . Im totally confused since the mobo manual specs says it excepts pcix16 cards but the slot type is completely different to the cards pins size. are two types of pcie's if you know this board or the slot type let me know what ive confused myself with thanks

Make sure you are using the long black slot closest to the CPU.

It should definitely fit, make sure your card is all the way to the back of the case when you install it.
