Everyone,

I have Windows 7 Home Premium installed on a computer that will not let the user work on the computer after it has been inactive all night. They stop working at say 7:00, leave the computer on and when they try to do anything the next morning it is unusable slow. They have to turn the computer off to be able get it to work and after that they are fine for the day. The computer is set to not go to sleep. I tested leaving the computer inactive for about an hour and was able to wake the computer up and everything worked. The one thing that seems odd is I did not have log back into the computer, however when the user comes back in the next day they do. I am wondering if the is a hibernation problem. I did not check to see if it was enabled. I do not have access to the machine everyday.

I changed the following in the Power Options based on some research on the web:

changed power advanced pci express - link state power management to off
changed power advanced hard disk - turn off hard disk after to 0

I am not sure what is going on and any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Daniel
