Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo fits or not?

Hi all.

Case: Xigmatek Asgard 382
Motherboard: AsRock Extreme4 z77
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB (High profile)
Graphic Cards: GTX 660 Ti SLI

Will the Hyper 212 Evo fit ?

Easy answer is "Maybe"

It will definitely be a close fit if it does.

I bet it wouldn't. The case is 7.68 inches, the Hyper 212 evo is 6.3 inches tall. So you have about 1.3inch allowance, you have to put in your mobo and close the case. So you can imagine it now..

Hello IAMEXTREME,

It states that your case supports CPU coolers with a maximum height of 160mm. Our Hyper 212 EVO is 159mm in height so it should fit but the heatpipes might be right up against the window.

If your are worried about clearance then another cooler that you might want to look at is the Hyper T4.

Also the Corsair Vengeance will not fit underneath the cooler so you will need to install the RAM in slots 2 & 4.

^1+ to this to this one. DIdn't know you had the corsair vengeance.. It would hit the Hyper 212x, but you can always move the fans up a little bit. It isn't screwed to the heatsink.

The 212evo will fit only you have to move the RAM into the 2nd and 4th ram slots. Because the space is only 37mm tall under the fan and the RAM is 52.2mm. The 212evo height is total 159mm, check the link for the pcitrue, someone has the same MB/212evo and you will see if you move the ram, you will be fine.

Is it as good as the Hyper 212 Evo?

Hello IAMEXTREME,

The 212 EVO and the Hyper T4 both have the same TDP of 180w. The main difference is that the Hyper T4 is a little shorter than the EVO (T4 152.3mm vs EVO 159mm). Also the fan moves slightly less CFM (T4 70cfm vs EVO 82.9 cfm).
