Basically I have a new system (new psu, gpu, cpu, mobo, ram) and it continues to freeze randomly. Sometime my pc will be on for 8 hours, and other times only half an hour. Never any indication of cause in Event Viewer.

Steps I have taken, no success:
- Disk error check on SSD
- Used 2 different sets of Dual 1866mhz ram
- Done CCleaner, installed all drivers, and tried repair install
- Reinstalled windows, still getting freezes.
- System restores, windows update repairs, microsoft fix it ulilities
- Furmark of GPU (never went over 65 degrees and no freeze)
- Prime95 on CPU (not for a sufficient amount of time though)

Ill describe the freezes for you. Sometimes it is instant, and its like a screenshot, cant do anything with mouse keyboard or ctrl - alt - del, has happened in games. And other times I can predict an imminent freezes, when programs wont open, programs stop responding, windows explorer will stop responding and the system will freeze with a frozen display.. I need to use restart power button on case.

Id like to believe it is a software problem, or at least not a problem with my cpu or mobo, because I cant replace them quickly.

System:
Coolermaster HAF 912
Asus Z87-a
i7 4770k (be quiet dark pro advanced heatsink)
Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb 1866
Coolermaster V700 power supply
XFX r9 280x graphics card
Vertex 4 SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

Ill add that, after it has frozen, the hdd detection light is still on, all fans spinning on case and gpu. Which makes me believe it is gpu or software issue still.
