Switching out fans for astetic purposes. I am wondering if the fans I found are better than the stock fans.

Replacement Fans, COUGAR 14CM Green LED Hydraulic (Liquid) Bearing Ultra Silent Fan

Stock Fans, Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181028

Replacement Fans - 1000 RPM, 73.2 CFM, 18 dBA, 1.4 Static Pressure

Stock Fans - 1150 RPM 67.8 CFM, 24 dBA, 0.84 Static Pressure

Here are my questions.

1. Are the replacement fans better than the stock fans?
2. Will the replacement fans push more air through my system?
3. Will the replacement fans be quieter than the stock fans?

Thank You!!

That's because the second fan he listed is the stock fan.

I don't know if you have already done this but I was looking around for airflow ideas on my new 540 and saw the thread. You can see from what you typed that your Cougar replacement fans are quieter by 6 db according to their specs, with higher airflow and static pressure spinning at lower RPMs. So a good improvement, and they match your colors and such so all the better.

What they say and what you actually get are two different things, if you really want the best performance I suggest 4Ryan6's Cooling Fan Roundup
