Neighbors wifi doesn't reach my room

I have nieborghs with wifi and they alow me to use it but I have to be in my garage and a wifi antenna to use it. I was wondering if I could leave the antenna in garage and have a long USB be cord connecting from the antenna to my computer and use the wifi like that

It won't work with USB unless the distance is just a few feet. If you are just going try to extend your antenna to a different point, look at something like THIS. I still recommend that you plan before buying anything.

It is possible (and they may need to make a few configuration changes to their router depending on what you need), your best bet might be to set up a wireless router using dd-wrt and making a bridge. HERE is a brief description of some of the possibilities.

There are some variations available depending on whether you can run a cable from your garage up to your bedroom or not. Also it is very important that you get a strong signal somewhere inside your house unless you are willing to place an outdoor device.

Yes I can run USB cable to my room and is there a video for this I'm still a noob at this wireless stuff

You don't want to use a USB cable, you want to use CAT5 or 5e Ethernet from the wireless router that you will convert into a client bridge as in THIS picture.

But before buying anything, it is best to find out what model wireless router they are using (and if they know what frequency and is set for N only or also legacy G devices). Find that out and post it. Also, I would suggest downloading a free wireless analyzer called inSSIDer from HERE and run it in some different locations to see what the best signal strength you find for their wireless (it will be in -dBm and lower as in closer to zero is better, a stronger signal).

Run that aerial cable then and an Ethernet cable (cat5e) to the pc, look for the best location with inssider, over -70 is a bad signal.

Usb looses power after about 6 feet so probably won't work.

Get a stronger adapter or pay for your own wifi rather than leeching off your neighbour's.
